one of the founders of CastFolio. Since 1998, he has been working as an animator, producer and visualization expert of advertising, architectural, documentary, TV, film and web projects. Following his graduation in ‘Animation’ at New Bulgarian University, Sofia, he has taught courses at UACEG, NAA, VTU and Softuni.
THE TEAM BEHIND “BEAUTIFUL DOBRICH” 2018
The idea for the film challenge was conceived at the Forum Global Dobrich – 2.0, in september 2017, which is a part of the global platform for a community of people, connected to the city. At the forum, the director and founder of CastFolio presented his feature documentary project and was delighted by the town and its surroundings.

SOPHIA VASSILEVAon of the founders of Castfolio, Sophia is a professional actress and casting director. She has gained experience as a show presenter at Bulgarian TV stations, executive producer and casting director for leading Bulgarian production companies (SIF 309 Film Music, Bul Cast Agency, Old School Productions). Her academic experience include ‘Animation’ and a Masters Degree at Royal Central School of Speech and Drama (London, UK).
